Play NES games (and more) on the Super Nintendo

I love how the first slot on that is just an snes game slot. The snes can already play Super Famicom games, you just have to clip off a couple tabs on the inside of the shell that stop the game from plugging into the system.

So this Adaptor interfaces with the NES and SNES cartridge and the SNES console is actually backward compatible to read the data from a NES game board? Was this possible during the 80's to 90's? Did this adaptor exist back then?

I got that adapt once, you could play some NES games on it for Super NES but not all of them. Castlevania 3, Blaster Master, and Rad Racer 2 doesn't even work on it.

Remember owning the NES and SNES it felt awesome but on the other hand it felt also so exaggerating 2 big consoles to play just a few games😂 I was like why couldn't they make just one console with all the NES and SNES games in it?
