When I connect the modem to the blue WAN ethernet port, I get no internet. When I connect the modem to the 2.5 G ethernet port, I get internet. What's going on?

Yes it will work with Comcast Xfinity but you should consider switching your internet service provider to save you some money and get accurate speed you're paying for.... I have them now but I'm switching to Frontier fiber internet and I have many other alternative companies like Verizon etc.

Bought an ax3000 to replace a Cisco e3200 from 2009.

Couldn't get it to allow devices online, and the phone app was terrible. Wasn't even able to set it up through my computer like I had in the past.

Returned router, went back to reliable 2009 Cisco router that only has 802.11n.

Slow and reliable will always beat fast but doesn't work.

I used a pixel 6 with the Asus app. Was the worst experience ever.

question. I have an ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 & 2 ROG Rapture GT6s. I have a large area to cover. I was told by ASUS Tech support before I bought them that they will work together. Well I was given the AXE16000 but I bought the 2 GT6s for the extended space. I told them I planned on using the AXE16000 as my main router and the 2 ROG GT6s as 2 nodes or what ever you want to call them. They told me they will work. Today when I called tech support they told me you cannot use them this way. Both devices under their specs say AiMesh capable.

Are you familiar with these? If so do you know if they will work like I am hoping they will? If they do where do you recommend I go for quality support to get help setting them up. ASUS customer tech support is terrible. I read my serial number to the guy 10 times and I swear they were just not listening.

Also for your info. I plan to have my AXE16000 connected to my ISP modem. My ISP does not have a built in router/wifi. So I will not need to put anything on their equipment in bridge mode. So the AXE16000 will be my router and I will have the 2 GT6s spread out far away on other side of building. My AXE16000 is next to and connected to a 16 port gigabit switch. I have Ethernet ran in the walls all the way out to where both GT6s are located. So the internet will be supplied from my AXE16000 through Cat6 to my GT6s so they will not be receiving WiFi signal from AXE16000 to the GT6s but instead they will be directly connected via Ethernet.

I am hoping I can have the 2 GT6s receive wired internet and then broadcast WiFi from there to devices on that side of building.

Will this work and how do I go about doing this?

I set my router up already via pc but I can't connect the app to my router without having to wipe my router. I don't want to re-enter all my port forwarding.

So the antennas on these and other asus Top end routers have always been the worst... I barely had mine and one was loose from factory and eventually just fell off and it's not a self repair item... oh and nearest walk in asus repair shop is in Cali... I'm in Washington state.... so I can do an rma but I know they won't cover it... and will either void my warranty and charge me some ridiculous ammount to fix the broken one... but even still all the others are floppy and have never stayed in place. Crazy for this price point
