ALL new pickups, regardless of trim level, are too expensive. Period.

I used to love watching TFL cover new trucks, back when I could afford one. It’s not fun anymore.

I've been saying for a while now... I bet the '24 F450 Limited is gonna top $120k. It's a good thing we're all getting 20% pay raises this year. Wait, we're not?

When I get in a pickup after I just loaded cows the inside of a 100.000.00 truck smells the same as a 52.000.00 and the same as 10.000.00 truck Amazing 🤩

As long as people keep buying all these overpriced trucks, the dealers will make sure the prices stay high.

Wait, wait!! I agree with Nathan; TFL dump that Hummer EV junk ASAP!

FUN FACT, it’s possible that when Andrea said “ that’s when you know you’re a big dog”. It could be translated in Russian as, “ that’s when you know you’re a big idiot”.

Back in January 2021 I purchased a new Chevrolet 3500HD LTZ Crew Cab, Standard Bed 4x4 with every option except power running boards It even has the technology package / fifth wheel prep, etc. The cost after a little back and forth with the dealer was $68k. At that time GM Financial offered zero percent 5 or 6 year financing. I really thought that waiting longer for prices to come down was a good idea but I purchased anyway. I cannot believe that these trucks are still selling for these crazy numbers. With interest rates rising and the economy slowing it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Prices are insane.
I remember back in 03’ my parents bought a fully loaded 4x4 F150 lariat for $34k

10 years later they got a 14’ F150 lariat for $44k ($11k jump)

9 years later, that same truck is now $70k+ (almost $30k difference)

GM has a relatively new 6.6 gas and they just announced a commitment to invest in building yet another new V8 in the next couple of years. Ford announced a new 6.8 to go with their relatively new 7.3. So we should all be happy that these two companies are embracing V8 engines, while Ram keeps selling a 2009 body with a 2012 engine at 2023 prices.

It's almost like trucks are only for the wealthy people at these prices

Somebody's paying for that. Won't ever be me, unless my salary jumps above $250k. Which is implausible.

This is what happens when the IRS allows a business to write off a Denali as a business expense. This is not a “work truck”. If people are opposed to government subsidies for electric cars, then they should be opposed to government subsidies for $100, 000 “work trucks.”

Doesn’t sound like the used truck market will be cooling off anytime soon with new truck prices like this. Yikes.

I've been buying used 2020+ Ford F250s with about 60k miles, and they have been working great. There is no need for new ones as long you continue maintaining them.

I paid $31K for the 2002 Super Duty Powerstroke XLT I ordered back in the day, hope it out-lasts me cause I can't see paying these prices 😬

My brother in law's 2020 Ram 3500 Dually Limited H.O. was 89k new, now that same truck now over 105k in 2 years is insanity.

GM said, “people are paying 10-20k over MSRP anyway.”

People did this to themselves.

Why don't they just remove the hood and replace it with a grill?
At this point!
