Can we access this nas from outside the network and if not how does it differ from just doing a local samba share for the drive
Also few major advantages of doing just samba share is it will save system resources and we don't even need to format the external drive

I personally own a RPi 4 amd I use it as my own plex media server and to add movies remotely I just samba shared the movies folder with read& write permission the major downside of this approach is it can't be accessed from outside the network only plex can be accessed

Right now, this script only install OMV 6. I hate to say that, OMV 6 sucks. It has tons of bugs. Is there any way I can install OMV 5 in raspberry pi 4. Sourceforge do not have rpi image anymore. Any one knows how to get OMV 5 in rpi ?

An External SSD or Hard Drive up to 2TB..

Why just up to 2TB? Should work fine with 3.5 HDD with separate power supply, no?
Also can you change the file format to NTFS?

I've built a RPi4B NAS using the Geekworm X825-C8 case, X825 SATA expansion board, and X735 V2.5 PWM fan. My problem, is that the scripts provided from Geekworm to install the fan are failing. My question has to do with whether the X735 can function to advertised expectations when using OpenMediaVault? Geekworm support only says that it's not been tested...which is strange...considering 90% of the Raspi builders would need this kit to work properly with OpenMediaVault. Any workarounds for installing the X735 v2.5 fan with OpenMediaVault?
