Oh yes, I need this. Sometimes the Niacinimide just isn’t enough you know? And it’s so annoying how no matter how gentle and protective I am with my cystic acne, it still leaves a dark scar, sometimes permanently! Nothing to be ashamed about of course, but it is annoying to me.

I haven’t used them but I am just happy that these exist / that we have so many options nowadays!!🙌🏼🙌🏼 I remember back in the days when I was struggling with my acne and post marks…we barely had products out there to treat them, then proactive came to save my life, stopped using the product after a while, but yeah. Keep it up skincare industry 👏🏼

They also have some for earlier stage pimples to help reduce the breakout being as strong that are microdarts. It helps for deeper pimples and ones not surfaced enough for normal pimple patches

If you want a serum instead of a patch, you could use a 10% Azelaic Acid. It works better than just using Niacinamide by itself to target dark spots. On Amazon they have a serum blend by eva naturals that has 10% Azelaic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Organic Aloe. As always make sure to patch test first. I’ve been using it for two weeks and I already saw great results within three days of use. I had a trouble dark spot that been staying the same shade for about a month and the blend had lightened it within a couple days😊

I’ve used these before, and I think they work up to a point unfortunately.

I started using Paula’s Choice discoloration serum (basically the tranexamic acid and niacinimide I think is what helps the discoloration) and it’s SOOO much better imo. While it’s expensive at $55, it definitely has repaired my lighter hyperpigmentation within a week, and my harder hyperpigmentation within a few

I buy the regular pimple patches in large size and just cut them up. I noticed they last so much longer this way. Also, I try to keep my pimples covered well past once they've healed bc I realized it kept me from hyperpigmenting! Maybe these will work better for older dark spots you already have, but if you get new pimples, just keep them covered with regular pimple patches as close to 24/7 as you can and it def reduces at least *my* incidence of hyperpigmentation, so I hope it works that way for others! I use avarelle xl translucent hydrocolloid patch, now known as zitout. Good luck!!

My dark spots are extremely stubborn and I'm also very prone to getting them. Every single blemish will leave a mark that doesn't leave my face for months or years. The only thing that has genuinely helped is the Tropicals Faded serum. It's honestly incredible but you do need to use it consistently.

I haven’t tried it but I heard the Topicals Faded cream is the best for hyperpigmentation

And if you’re not already, you should think about adding in Tretinoin, vitamin c, niacinamide. And of course AHA/BHAs

Anyone that struggles with pigmentation / dark spots - tranexamic acid while the spot is still growing or red will reduce how bad the pigmentation scar ends up being and helps reduce redness too. Also, mandelic acid has done wonders with reducing pigmentation scars for me. That’s sort of my before and after pigmentation scar treatment. Fulvic acid wash (eg Inkey List) is really good for pigmentation too.

These scar your skin more, so if you have sensitive skin please take this into consideration. I used these and now have a spot that didn’t heal until I used cream prescribed by my dermatologist

I can say as a mighty patch user myself they all work. Honestly they have three different micro dart patches one for acne, dark spots and for fine lines. I definitely recommend them all for what they are designed to do 🙌🏼🙌🏼
