Its just 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 with just the 1 starting at 2 fingers, and 5 ending at 1 finger.

The answer is zero, when she held up one finger, because when she holds 2 fingers it's 1 and when she holds 5 fingers it's 4.

Ah I like this party trick, however I prefer to do like it is done in the game Monkey Island 2;

Raise any number of fingers on one hand, and say a number between one and five that isnt the number of fingers you are holding up. This isnt important; its deaigned to throw anyone off.
Then change the number of fingers you have up, and ask "whats this?" The answer is always the first number of fingers you held up.

For example, raise 4 fingers and say "if this is 1" then raise 2 fingers and ask "what's this?" The answer would be 4, because you had 4 fingers raised for the first one.
Watch people freak out trying to figure this out, it is so fun to do.
