I'm from Belgium and the dishes are extremely Belgian but the execution is sometimes a bit different, the stew is supposed to be a lot thicker (not soup) and the endives swim in a pool of cheesy bechamel sauce!

HAHAHA! I was dying when he asked her if she's ever had blue waffles. That's too great. I don't know who's been doing the editing lately, but the videos have gotten a lot tighter and have a better flow to them. That cut with the girl saying "You can only eat one or else you'd be asking for a heart attack" and then cut to "Can I have another one?" was absolutely perfect. Good job Facts.

I must be one lucky bastard. I googled blue waffles and got a recipe for blue waffles with a blue curacao and cinnamon infused syrup.
I decided to try the recipe and it was really damn good.

I'm from Belgium and my parents always used to make the endive (first dish) a bit sweeter by adding a tiny bit of sugar. Bitterness goes away and it tastes so good! You forgot the bechamel sauce in that dish btw.

Growing up in Belgium, I HATED endives. Recently, some friends cooked some and I tasted it. What a difference a couple of decades can have on your palate. Loved it. I'm fully Belgian now lol

I went to Belgium once and spent an evening on the shore eating French Fries (OK, Belgian Fries) with mayonnaise, made fresh from a push cart. Really, really good.
