I wouldn't say that these are NZ pies, they may be in NZ but as a new zealander I don't immediately think of these pies (except the mince one). You should have had mince and cheese, potato top, steak and kidney and basically any pie from a regular bakery. And you probably shouldn't have had pies that look like they were 'home-made' cause I think a majority of kiwis just buy their pies

I'm a New Zealander (Kiwi) and honestly I don't know what brand of pies you were eating but they clearly aren't the best representation of what pies are like in NZ. Actually they don't make food in NZ look good at all and that makes me sad 😔

There is a pie shop in invercargill called " fat bastard pies" i have never had pies like them. Big, tasty and made fresh every day. The southern seafood pie is my absolute favourite👍👍👍
