How to Straighten a Warped or Wobbly Turntable Platter

How to Straighten a Warped Turntable Platter.
In this case, the platter itself was not warped, the center sleeve that slides over the bearing was slightly cocked.
Here's how I straightened it out and eliminated almost all the wobble.

I bought an AT LP-120XUSB that had a warped/wobble platter (and a motor problem when playing 78’s). So I bought a Pioneer PLX-500 which came today—it has a warped platter as well. You can’t really tell sound wise unless it’s a warped/off-centered record. But the warped platter causes the arm to weave back and fourth. You seem more handy with this stuff than I am. I couldn’t find any info except for your video.

I did the screwdriver thing with a Technics SL-23 today, without the heat. It reduced my wow by about half.

Mine does this and every record I try to play gets stuck/skips to a certain point… I have a super old school radio/record player combo in a big cabinet… can’t remember what they’re called. Is there a way to fix that turntable as well?
