This makes the fact that so many hospitals make you lay flat on your back for hours even more shocking

All of this can be intuitive. Don’t rely so much on “knowing” your baby’s station to figure out which poses to move through. MOVEMENT is good. Having these tools in the back of your mind is helpful. Just don’t get so stuck on “how low is my baby and what did that gal say to do at this point?” Just tune into your body. Feel your way through labor. Your body was made for this so just listen to what it needs. You don’t need cervical checks. Baby is going to be coming down and out, and the more you pause to check and stress about how far you have or haven’t made it, the less tuning in you’re doing, the less you can just do what your body needs when it tells you in the moment.

Women in my family telling me “oh you say you won’t take the epidural but you will watch.” Instead of supporting me. I know it will be painful, and it won’t go as planned always but I will hope for a healthy minimal intervention labor in just a few weeks. 💖

I tried the ball movement when I was already 6-7cm open and dang it hurt bad 😅I didn’t know there was steps to which comes first or when to do so I tried everything I saw during labor 😅👍🏼standing up in 90angle and moving side to side was amazing and soothing 😻

I wish they did this 29 years ago.... I was stuck in a bed on my back and told I could not even get up to walk...
Was told 16 year ago my insurance doesn't cover other types of labor. (Saddle blocks, walking, water brith, brith bar, or anything to help me deliver)

It helps to have a visual guide and understanding the baby's position throughout labor even though the body has a natural way of telling us what to do.

Made me a little anxious about giving birth to my first but, now that I know and have some tips this might help.
I'm also due for my baby girl coming any day now some of these positions look reliving..
I hope 😭😅

When I watch this video it’s so wild that without knowing this was even possible my body made these exact motions during labor. First my knees were spread apart and just as baby was coming out my knees closed in. I was so scared that I had crushed my baby but really it was my pelvis opening up. 😭🙌

By pushing, usefully after take a breath with mouth, like before diving, leave your mouth open so you don’t strain your face ( it's even impossible with open mouth).

If only Drs And Nurses Used This Knowledge
The Delivery Room in Hospital Would Be A More Natural Produtive Place😂❤

And my doc informed me yesterday that they’ll want me on my back, knees up and wide apart with chin up to reach stomach as if doing crunches.. none of these moves you shared 😢

How do we know the position? Do midwives tell you about this?

Thank you Jessica. Will the midwife tell us about the CM progression?
