Suhrawardi’s philosophy known as Hikmah al-Ishraq (Philosophy of Illumination) is based on the symbolic meaning of ‘ishraq’, which also includes both cosmology and epistemology. This video discusses the former, the cosmology of Suhrawardi in the system of philosophy of illumination.
