Indeed, 'Ata Allah (RA) is correct. That "time" is Ever Present, Transcendant of time and conceptualization. To die is to "wake up", and as one detaches from himself in death, the True Reality is unveiled. That place isn't there or here. It is everything yet nothing. There is no differentiation, and even the concept "differentiation" is a product of differentiation. "We" are still "there", in that moment before all moments bearing witness to the sovereignty of our Rabb in eternal and Everlasting bliss forever and ever.

Much part of Suhrawardi's work is truth but these Sufis were not infallible men. So they have also made some mistakes; and Final Criterion to judge their mistakes is "Quran".
