If you want a perfect cast, you need a perfect mold. Your molds are works of art - watching you is like 'Zen And The Art Of Mold Making'. You've influenced my approach to, not only mold making, but any sequential step in product developement. I've always believed, a jig is an integral part of making, especially for repeat work and your innovations (e.g. the interlocking rim of a two part mold) is a shining example. Thank you for your inspiration Eric.

Nice 3d print! Your 90 degree overhang support settings must be dialed in because it looks great!

So far we've seen you make videos for mostly single item molds. How do you tackle orders for larger orders? Say quantities of 50 to 150 for smaller parts (1x1x1 inch for example). Would love to see a video on that =)

I have some old taillights that I would like to cast a mold off of, however, they're very old so the lens can't be taken apart from the housing to get a clean two sided mold. The taillights also curve around the rear corners of the car, making the shape bit more tricky as it will have depth in the mold.

What would be the best way to cast a mold from just the outside of the lens, and be able to achieve a uniform thickness of the new casted lens?

What about 3D printing the mold and skipping a step?
