I have plans to do this process on my whole house. I have so many clothes and toys we're bursting at the seams over here. Wow girl, you have so many clothes!! lol I love it. I like your idea of "does it spark joy" I do something similar to this when I am shopping. Before I buy a piece of clothing I always ask myself "Can I leave the store with out it and not regret it?" and if the answer is yes then I don't buy it. Also I fold my clothes the same way and let me tell you, it saves SOOO much space.
