Before diving into meditation, taking five minutes to dance or shake is a powerful practice rooted in the law of Yang and Yin. According to this principle, Yang represents activity, movement, and outward energy, while Yin symbolizes stillness, receptivity, and inner calm. To fully sink into the meditative, Yin state, it's essential to first release and activate the body's Yang energy.

By engaging in physical movement—whether through shaking or dancing—you allow the body to discharge excess tension, stress, or restlessness. This creates a balance of energy, making it easier to transition into stillness. Movement helps stimulate blood flow, awaken the senses, and ground the body, preparing it for the deep stillness that follows in meditation.

Without first engaging in Yang, the mind and body may remain restless, making it more challenging to fully enter a meditative state. By embracing dynamic movement before stillness, you harmonize both energies, creating the optimal conditions for a deeper, more present meditation experience.

When I sink into stillness after shaking, I notice the energy inside and outside thickening. It seems when I allow the energies to thicken, it feels very pleasurable, and it becomes easier to see and feel the Lights. It feels like falling asleep at times. Is there any negatives to allowing the energies to thicken?
