Now this, *this* is incredible. How cool is this interview?! What an amazing, wholesome, and super cool collaboration between two wonderful wonderful musicians and artists. God bless you both, this is such a fascinating treat I was never expecting but am oh-so grateful for.

I'd be nervous playing my songs for one person and getting the individual's feedback, let alone that individual being Brian Eno.
Seems less terrifying than releasing it to the public and having articles written about it for the world to see.

I think this album is as close to a return to what made his breakout record so special, while skilfully blending his consideration of the records mass appeal. In 2011's eponymous album, Blake reworked current dance music movements in a way that felt distinct and emotive, reminiscent of other seminal works like Burial or even Radiohead's Kid A. It feels to me that this latest record is a similar attempt to reconfigure present dance music trends, meshing abrasion and delicacy into something alien, challenging and still incredibly danceable. To do something only he can do, especially so when you consider his consistently astounding voice and range. This record is just so restlessly creative and the Eno influence is not surprising

Eno: Who's that singing? 🤔

James: It's me. 😊

It’s refreshing Eno is aware of the fact he’s made some awful suggestions about what to leave on the cutting room floor.😆

I didn't see that the 2nd episode was already online. I fell off my chair because I couldn't imagine this meeting. I was 10 years old when I fell backwards listening to “Remain in Light” by TalkingHeads. In fact, this meeting is obvious, and it is damn moving.

two of my favorite musicians ever. what a great conversation. I love Brian's interest in new music despite having made music for over 50 years. You often see older people having a hard time following trends, but Brian just still has the curiosity of a kid and that is why he is such an inventive souls. love this new album. my favorite from James in a while<3

Це моє улюблене відео на ютуб. Це як якась психотерапія, дякую. Так спокійно, я наче спілкуюсь з ними в вкрай плідно. Хочу мати справу життя про яку розказуватиму так само натхненно, глибоко, апевнено.
