Just bought my 2015 2500 6.7L 76k miles for 23k in 2024 Someone was nice and deleted it and replaced the manifold and turbo for a BD screamer, stage 1 transmission. Ans steal front and rear bumpers. Full custom paint job. I love it so say what you want

Buying a modded truck period is dumb. Do the work yourself. If it’s been modded most likely been abused

I’m falling in love with these 4th gens and now that I have a 1500 gasser I want a 2500 Cummins to haul my landscaping equipment. I like the body style but I also need a 2500 truck to haul all my mowers and shit because I plan on growing the family business...

I recently went through same type Chyt . Bought a deleted 2010 2500, from a big Toyota dealership in fort bend …. Got the run around, decided to keep it … I’m happy with it . Still a bit of a pain … having to learn EVERYTHING DIESEL 😂. Got in Fort Bend county… which I guess is a rare county that deleated ain’t cool . But the interior is immaculate, no joke spotless… so I’m guessing highway miles …regardless of ranch bumper

This is an opinion list on buying ANY used vehicle. I appreciate your effort but your title should be specific to the inherent problems of the 4th gen Ram 6.7
Like this: I own a 2011 Ram 2500 4wd mega cab, I have put 212K miles on it. The problems I have experienced are mainly with the EGR system thats clogged most of the time and putting the truck into limp mode. The second problem is someone else wanting my catalytic convertor more than i did, Stolen on a busy Dallas street. It cost my insurance company over $10K to replace only to have me let all of the emission crap fall off of it and buy a tuner. The truck gain and insane 200hp, never went into limp mode again until the trans started throwing codes for a leaky valve body at 200K.
Trans is notorious for weak valve body which is easily and cheaply fixed in the aftermarket with a revmax valvebody and upgraded clutch basket. Truck runs better breathing clean air than it did new.
Antilock brake unit went out and a used one at a wrecking yard was $1400 new was $3500. The metal on the body is not up to par like my Ford or Chevy trucks but I do love this truck. When it was time for me to get a new one and cycle this one into by business, I could not do it, i kept it as a back up and fun truck. Eats tires with EFI live tunes but its fast, too fast for its stock brakes and handling.

Great info for the beginner diesel owner.

Pointless video. No pertinent info to the ram. You bought a truck with 16k on it…. Basically it is a new truck, might be nearing its second oil change… No skill in that purchase

13 minutes of the obvious, what did this have anything to do with buying a 4th Gen?

Never buy one tuned or deleted (if it’s pre emissions then don’t touch it if it’s tuned)

Cool video and I am a veteran. I still deploy and just bought a 2017 Ram 2500 6.7l with 68k. I will be out of Florida and plan to delete to make it more efficient. Is there a certain mileage you recommend doing this?

Just watching this now.... Looking at a 2016 2500 tradesman. Is deleted with oversized tires. 78K Do you consider that low miles?

My brother in law has a stock 2013 with 97k miles on it. Wants 28k for it. What do you think?

This isn’t a video about buying a 4th gen
It’s about buying any used car or truck

Hey man, this might be a stretch, but I found a 4th Gen Cummins at a dealership out in OKC that I’m really interested in, but being deployed, I wouldn’t be able to get it until next month. I’d like to put a deposit down, but it’s non-refundable, and I don’t want to get stuck losing $1500 if the truck is a POS. Is there any chance you’d be willing to go take a look at it? You’re a knowledgeable guy when it comes to Diesels, so I’d be able to trust your input about it

Thank you for your Military service first of all! But as far as your videos go they need to be flushed down the toilet. You spent 7 min verbally blowing the previous owner “Randy” which didn’t help anyone. The last bit was the most basic “common sense” advice which everyone already knows who’s looking at a truck. Please spend less time with a video selfie while wearing gas station Ray Ban sunglasses and more time on actual facts about the truck and the video title
