One other thing to check on the engine, do the jiggle test on the electrical connection for the air intake heater grid. If that thing is loose you could lose a bolt nut that gets sucked into cylinder 6 and can ruin your engine!

Add a Glacier diesel vent relocation kit to your fuel tank. It will add over four gallons capacity, as well as make filling your tank much quicker and easier.

When my 2018 Ram 2500 tradesman had 9000 miles on it I upgraded everything that kills these trucks and studded the motor. Also added a deep trans pan, trans case brace and deleted the trans coolant block. Super happy with this truck. 18-19 city, 24-26 hwy and 13-14 towing my 11k pound fifth wheel.

I wanna get one of these as a do all family/work vehicle. Found a laramie limited with a black leather interior. It's white and looks meaner than hell. Talk about one helluva badass daddy-mobile.

Just one personal comment on the Coil Springs. I just traded off a 2014 with Coils. It never gave me any problems towing. But when it was not hooked to a trailer or had at least 300 lbs in the bed, it was the roughest riding truck I've owned since the 1980s!! I could never understand how it could possibly ride so bad!!

Got 2017 that I picked up brand new with 9 miles on it. Rolled 96500 today, no issues so far. Only been back to the dealership once for a transmission pan leaking from the factory rtv not sealed correctly at the rear of the pan. Has been just about the best truck I've ever owned. Fuel mileage is better than you would expect for a vehicle that weights this much. Consistently around 18.5 mpg, even with larger than factory tires.

You need to check the front drive shaft u-joint’s, there prone for failure if not greased and maintained. It will take out the Transmisslon

I got thee identical truk Wade, had 7500 lb airbags put on mine, while I yank rvzz outa North Indiana. I would never run without airbags.I hauled campers since 2010. Then i didn't have bags, but Timbrens, an I'll tell ya from my experience there stiff bang the trk 2 death, melt em down and make floormats out of em😂. A megacab2014 dulley will ride 10 times better than any 2500 shortbed, but a shorty saves money 4 shore😂 Bless you Brother *

I have a 2018 as well. I have a plow on mine and I installed a set of air bags in the rear to help carry the counterweight I put in the back.
