My son routed me to this video.
I watched it several times....and was successful!.
I liked how he said to think logically. How true!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I FOLLOWED YOUR INSTRUCTIONS AND I WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK MY LOCKED TSA LUGGAGE ; FORGOTTEN CODE CRACKED. You just saved me $200; I called the locked smith and I was told it cost $200 to get it opened. THANK YOU !!!

This worked for two other briefcases, but my American Tourister didn't have a latch in connection with the combination. There was no way to keep tension on the cylinders. I resorted to the other method recommended by some videos, where you search for a telltale hole in the axle immediately right of each cylinder. You need a very bright light, a good magnifying glass, and you need to position the lock perfectly to see that thin band of steel axle just to the right of each number. On mine, the space was smaller than the width of a staple. That doesn't give you the combination, but it gives you the position of the combination. By rotating all three numbers, 1 digit at a time, in parallel, I found the combination. In this case 956 had the holes and 512 was the combination.

It seems like a great video but I can't follow what you're doing. I don't see what digits you're Moving and how do you know when to stop

Hey, can you possibly demonstrate how to get in a 1970 vintage American Tourister suitcase? Unlike the luggage in this video there is no lock to put pressure on while turning the dials. PLEASE HELP

THANK YOU SO MUCH. My friend bought this lock box and didn’t realize the plastic that would have kept either the person who bought, cut and returned it with a changed code or a real jerk for no reason who did it at the store. And the worst part was it was the last one and she lost the receipt so even though CVS doesn’t allow any returns anymore and he was going to do it anyways because he knows us, there wasn’t one to swap and he couldn’t manage letting us get a cash return with no receipt even trying to bend the new Covid rules.

But basically I wasted time on the knife trick (and made it harder to close because of it, they lie when they say it won’t harm it) and looking for rings around the numbers with divots that didn’t exist. If anyone is reading this don’t waste your time on those other videos I think even if they once worked that the company fixed the “hacks” in these newer boxes.

I’m not sure if the gentleman was actually letting each number click when he was doing it but I couldn’t get it to stop properly especially without the pressure making the middle number want to turn too so just spin the last one while applying pressure while changing the first two as needed and it absolutely did just randomly pop open for me! Thank you again!

Do you know how to open a Hartmann suitcase without the combination? I can’t do what you’re doing with that one. Thank you.

There's an easier way to open that case. I bet if you use a butter knife and push the lever towards the outside, there should be a slot that you wouldn't know it's there. Put the end of the knife in the slot and it will pop right open.

I'm still a bit confused as to how he starts, how do you move from 10., 20, 60 etc....?

My grandson and I were trying to open a briefcase I got at Goodwill. The craziest thing was when you said "119" I just decided to go to that for fun... it was 119. No joke. However, I've been though all 1k combos, one and a half times and nothing good yet. Maybe it's broken. But that 119 thing was a blast.

So your advise to "crack any suitcase lock" is to sequentially try every number. BRILLIANT!
