Thank you for your thorough video. I am doing both gaskets today on my M235 and this helps greatly! Have the upper radiator hose delivered tomorrow, as we found it was rough on the underside.

Thank you sir, I am waiting for the full kit with all the seals, good tip on replacing all the air intake gaskets, and good tip for un plugging the wire harness, I accidentally snapped the expansion line, super brittle, 50 dollar accident, they are very brittle your right, I’m also ordering the upper radiator hose, thanks 🙏.

Have an aluminum replacement gasket and filter to install and just wanted to validate how easy this is without finding out the hard way. I need to get that pick tool, very useful.

Normally I also replace the hose that attaches to the head right below that front lower bolt as the plastic end will be falling apart from age and oil exposure. There are aluminum replacements available.

when you removed the coolant hose at minute 3 is that water or is that actual coolant?

I have a 2011 328i that will need oil filter housing gasket replacement -- Do I have to drain the coolant before I start taking it everything apart, or is that not necessary? I do plan to take it to the shop after I do the DIY replacement

Aren’t you suppose to cycle the oil through ? So the engine won’t seize ?

Word to the wise!! When you do this make sure to use only genuine BMW gaskets.
I tried to save $ by using generic, ended up doing job twice😬

Hello, is it possible to remove the single screw holding the two hoses and replace those o rings alone without flushing the oil? The oil filter housing itself was removed a couple of months ago, and all the gaskets replaced. However, the o ring on the right hose broke off at some point, and I know have a drip from there. Thank you
