Great fix, I just unplug the power to fire stick for 3 seconds, and then back in, and my f ire stick appeared fully functional. I always leave my fire stick plugged in and on, I am wondering if I should unplug the power source when I am not using it? I have the fire stick connected to a 1 TB external hard drive which has its own power supply. I can watch all of my movies from this. Thanks for all of you informative videos.

Unplugged and came back 30 min later. Plugged back in and it's still cycling through main screen and blue screen. Tried the remote select/ pause/play. No go. Still cycling. Other suggestions?
