ABOUT A TO ZEN LIFE
Along my journey to let go of 30 years of clutter, I accidentally became a minimalist and it was life-changing.

Before, I was an emotional hoarder with nothing but the clutter from lost loved ones — and $25,000 of debt — to my name. Now I have a beautiful home in Europe, a happy family, live debt-free, and — best of all — wake up to a life that I’m EXCITED to live every day.

I'm 72 and yes even now you have to do this occasionally. This is how you grow and not become stale. Yes, even at my age.👍

I am 80 years young, and I reset weekly, so I don’t fall in a slump
Thank heavens I am still healthy.
Merry Christmas to you and yours⛄️❄️🎄❤

I’m 53. Two husbands who have passed away with the most tragic deaths that I’ve ever known, a father, who I idolized, passed away with ALS, I’m a cancer survivor; I will stop there. The list goes on. My life has consisted of starting overs. At my age, I feel now that this may be normal. We are only given what we can handle. This is my very first comment ever. I want you to know that I’ve been watching you for years and I greatly appreciate your honesty and how you do not give up And continue to seek the true happiness that exist around you every day. Thank you.

I’m 83 - and resets never stop. It’s all about progression - and as long as we’re alive there is more to self-learn… so resets. 😊

I’m 71 and just moved into a larger much nicer apartment in a good neighborhood. It’s a big change and I’m loving it so far!!! I’ve made many many changes in my lifetime. I’ve found, at least for me, how you adapt is mostly a positive mindset! Love your channel!!

You are not alone my friend! At 36 I hit the reset and I’m feeling the need to do so again at 42 ❤

My husband passed away after 46 years of marriage. I was married at 18. After the funeral, I gave myself a week to write down how I felt, how I should change my life, how I should take care of my finances, emotional, mental and physical health. I jotted ideas down on paper.

My life is totally and completely different from how it was. I am not how I was. I am 76, live alone. I reset my life in September from my birthday onwards. Every year, I do something different. I change my behaviour and mindset better. I endeavour to become a better person than I was last year.

I’m 54. I did a major reset when I was 53. I don’t have a children and live alone. I love being single and living alone. Throughout my life I have done a reset. With each season of my life I have to declutter the old ways of items and living.

I’m 63 and a heart attack survivor 🙌🏼. I’ve learned to slow down while still getting the important things accomplished 💜. God and family are my priorities but I’m trying to declutter. I’ve started back painting and learning watercolors. This New stage of life is challenging but rewarding. I love your videos❣️

I am almost 67 yrs old( in Feb 2025) and I have had to do that a couple times.
Congratulations Marissa for getting your life back!! I admire you! Merry Christmas and Happy 2025 for you and your family!

My scary thing for 2025is that I have been a widow after 20 yrs of marriage for 3 yrs now. I have started seeing a man. I thought I was just going to a widow for the rest of my life. So now having met Dave I have to get used to my life being less lonely and meeting a whole new group of friend

Definitely needed this. I am 41 with 2 kids and needing to prioritize my health, weight loss, and personal goals. I love the idea of setting shorter 90 day goals rather than a whole year goal. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

I'm 71 and I've reset my life several times. Things come in and out as the changing years go by. I have felt the stress of a busy life, poor health, moving then setting up my new home many many times, aging with all it's challenges and death of family and loved ones, and so much more. I remarried last February for the 3rd time after 28 years of being single. And what a year this has been! I truly appreciate your video today because all my routines and systems have been thrown off kilter, now that I'm living with my new husband. Pause and self reflection are a very good idea. I'm looking forward to a fabulous new year ahead and intend to use these ideas to begin. Thank You.

I'm 66, and I haven't kept track of how many times I've changed my path.
Everything I've done so far, wrong, right - or merely different, has brought me useful insight.
