running winetricks from within playonlinux was a good tip, but I found the text in this video non-readable - video resolution too low.

Bare in mind that these "portable exe" makers sometimes, after unpacking files in temp directory, don't remove them so it just keeps eating your free space. It would be a good idea from time to time to check your "wine" directory size.

@gotbletu I don't play Windows games anymore. :) Decided to support indie developers and just play whatever native I can find.

I can never get any of my games to run under PlayOnLinux. I've been trying to get BioShock (Steam Ed.) to run which, it will but the graphics are horrible. It's not playable at all, but I do have an ATI card.
