6 best MMORPG games coming in 2017

Chronicles of Elyria is awesome. I'm signed up already. Unreal engine, great graphics, fully dynamic world. No "fixed place NPCs with repeatable kill quests", the whole system is fluid. I've been following the dev and design. Add in aging and death, even your character losing on gaining weight based on lifestyle, crafting your equipment and seeing the layers build up as plate stacks on top of cloth etc. The whole thing is amazing depth going into their work.

Nice that the martial arts genre is seeing a better representation in this day and age, however.

The biggest pitfalls of modern mmos is easy and fast leveling, financially prioritizing graphics, quest grinding, and no longer needing crowd control in groups. If you agree with any of this there is hope: Pantheon rise of the fallen.

chronicles of elyria is definitely at the top of everyone's list. but for now that hope is mostly running on promises and little details of the current state of the game. I hope it works out
