I love how this type of videos keep getting out on YouTube, where they announce the same MMOs every time and they never get out.

There will never be another World of Warcraft. People tend to forget we live in a different gaming age now. Everything has to be fast, flashy, microtransactions everywhere and a dopamine shot every 20 seconds otherwise the game is doomed to be called 'boring'.

In Vanilla Wow (and also TBC) people would solo quest in a dark forest. Not knowing which way to go. Then, all of a sudden, a fellow gamer came along and when they had finished hunting some monsters, they buffed each others chars with their own unique abilities. A Druid like myself took a bow and made a campfire in the woods and cooked some food. That never happens in a game anymore. I can't even make a campfire anymore, let alone have fun around it with a couple of online weirdos who like to game as well.

Wow.. $100 entry fee to test their game for them? As a professional software tester this makes me kinda vomit in my mouth a little bit. These companies just absolutely take advantage of gamers, and they pay their in-house QA shit to boot. It's just a scummy as hell industry and it makes me sad, because I love good video games.

I would love to see a modern version of “The Secret World”. Loved that world and the unique paranormal stories.

I would love a Warhammer MMO with have a huge community focus. Players against swarms of PVE enemies? Yes please - losing a battle could lose a planet? Yes please. Players playing as Imperial Guard, making players not only work with each others but guilds working together too? Yes plaese!

EverQuest Next has no players because it never launched....

Lol, I don't think any of them will overtake WoW, but I'm excited for new MMOs regardless.

The lack of an auction house in ghost is kind of a double edged sword. If there isn't one in game, something will creep up online through discord or something. And of course there's always someone who will take advantage of flaws, leaving people essentially feeling robbed and no in game support.

Can't wait to begrudgingly return to wow once they all inevitably fail. 😥

I like a lot of what Amazon games has done with New World, so I would be willing to look at their version of Lord of the Rings. However, I will be skeptical with the disrespect Amazon shows the franchise with Rings of Power, but I will at least look at it and give it a chance to disappoint... or amaze me.

Hahaha! Everquest 3.... That will never get made. This is the 4th time they've started making EQ3 (at least), and after the utter farce last time with it and Landmark, I'm never trusting Daybreak Studios again.

I was there for Everquest next, i was a backer, and it turned out to ultimately be a scam to drive share prices up before the company was sold. It's a damn shame too, because what they were developing with Everquest next was revolutionary even by todays standards, the complete voxel system, the incredibly deep and dynamic npc/faction ecosystem, voxel base building system etc.

I mean WoW is old at this point, and has been treating its players bad for over a decade. It really won't take much to beat it. I say this as someone who played for 20 years. Honestly if they would just fire the people who are activists or mistreat those they work with they might actually have good content again. Will tak more than Chris Metson (I am glad they brought him back). This has kind been a problem with AAA studios period. Bad work culture or they hire activists, or both. The market will either course correct to what the majority consumers want (hasn't really changed much) or they will burn and smaller companies will have room to grow. So I am preparing to let it rot and not buy new stuff until the course correct.

As an adult with a family, a full-time job, and just enrolled in college again full-time. I enjoy videos like this that let me know which MMOs are coming down the pipe. It lets me factor them into my future PTO and puts me at ease that I have a decent amount of time to prep my family for a moment in the future where I will definitely be taking some much-needed me time. By the time the Riot MMO releases I'll be finished with my degree and hopefully settling into my new remote role. Great vid my dude, many thanks.

I'd love to see a MMORPG rise to challenge WoW other than FF. I've been itching for a new MMORPG. But I try not get my hopes up cause most new mmorpg are hot garbage.

I think the thing that hurts new mmos the most, is most fans of mmos are already established in their games, and it would take a lot for them to switch.
