that's good video Firas thank you, in my case it's works I can see that dynamo has create elements IDs but is not displaying in my Revit cause it's a detail Items family, how could I manage that? I'd like to represent in 2d layout, if I use any 3D family it's work perfect but when I use my detail items family it's nor showing! thank you

Is there a way to make the family be placed after a certain distance?
For example, If I am designing a theater, and want the seats to be placed 60cm from midpoint to midpoint, but there are different rows with different lengths, is there a way to array the seats by distance and still fill the row? I tried, but I cannot find a way to add the seats by distance, only by a specific number per row.

The Curve element node isn't available for me - any thoughts? My only guess is maybe my Revit and Dyanmo versions aren't the same year/release? Also, Dynamo isn't previewing my selected element, and I have tried zooming in/out/panning.

Hello and THANK YOU for a wonderful post. I am trying to expand on this to create a hung lighting fixture strip where a light bulb family needs to follow a curve in the Z axis. I am a bit new at Dynamo and I can't figure out how to let the elevation of the points to drive the vertical height the lightbulbs need to follow.
When I use your method I am able to place the lightbulbs without a problem, but they host themselves on level 1 and it doesn't seem to be possible to change the offset height to that level.
I am open to share my progress and lightbulb family if you could provide me with a link or an email. Thank you so much for your help on this and I do hope you accept the challenge ;)
