I'm new to blender and this video helped me which one to use when. Until today I was using only curve modifier, but using vertex method, it helped me fit the chain to hand 3d model along with shrink modifier for the circle mesh. Thank you so much.

Oh my Dear Lord, for 2 years I was missing tutorial like that. Everytime I was going through hell with this stupid array circle, and it was so easily destroyed when I wanted to modify something. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wait a minute.. I've been having a nightmare of a time trying to make brick arches that have hard curved shoulders and long paths to the keystone point in the middle and my bricks do not deform to match the curves like that at all. That last technique is probably what I'm looking for. Every arch tutorial on youtube I've seen never covers brick arches properly and they're using such poor technique like literally placing the bricks manually.. Thanks for this

Great Video and thank you! At 0:32, how do you hide the circle curve to not show in render without having the instances hide?

Oh yea, blender has serious curve array jank going on so does this mean I HAVE to do every array based on the world centre and with the 3D cursor centred to the world too? Because I have a large scene and doing curved arches and other arrays are based on a specific location and unique measurements. So do I have to bring the curve to the world centre and do it there or is it possible to do it anywhere I want?

in the 2nd method, can we apply the arrayed objects?
