If you watch the interviews of Hall and Nash, Hall says he didn't want his contract to roll over so he gave his 90 day notice. He had asked for more money and was denied. He had asked to work in Japan and was denied. He had asked for a bigger share of the merchandise revenue and was denied. Nash (according to his interview) was more frustrated that the company wouldn't put him over when he was the champion. He talks about guys not taking his finish, him wrestling to a draw, etc... and then finally he has enough when Bret wouldn't take his finish to set up Diesel vs Undertaker at WM. Nash said in his shoot interview "Tell Bischoff I'm in". So it sounds like Hall was the first one gone, and then Nash decided at the last minute to follow him out.

Nash said to Vince countless times that he desperately wanted to stay and asked Vince lots of times to try to match WCW or as near as he could as his wife was pregnant and told him to do what’s best by then family

Well that explains why Kane hated May 19th so much. That would be the day he knew he was going to be saddled with that shitty Fake Diesel character.

I dont think they did a dam thing or else they would have never left KEVIN & SCOTT both said they didn't want to leave but Vince just didnt want to pay out his top stars to stay those are the FACTS! WCW had the $$$ to pay them both what they was asking but truth be told If WCW didnt toss out so much money the way they did the company would still be around 2day in 2021!

If Hall and Nash would have stayed in WWF there would be no NWO. Austin and Rock might have continued as mid carders.

Scott Hall reminds me of my uncle Charlie. Guy could easily drink 2 gallons of vodka a day
