How To Stand Out As An Introvert In Med School
Показать описание
How do you stand out as an introvert in med school!?
Personality traits are not everything. Some think extroverts have the advantage when it comes to practicing medicine and probably other jobs that require you to interact with a lot of people. The image you may have of an introvert could be someone quiet, shy, and not one to raise their hands first or give opinions.
But, if you are an introvert, especially a pre-med trying to get into med school, it’s not all doom and gloom and you can stand out.
You are just as good as extroverts.
It may surprise some of you because I make these videos, write blog posts and just put myself out there, but I am an introvert. It does sometimes take time for me to be comfortable with people that I am around. But I was able to carry who I am and not only did great in med school, but doing pretty well so far on my second year of internal medicine residency as well.
I want to help you because I know it can seem tough and daunting. In this video, I am going to talk about how you can leverage being an introvert to develop mastery on something, help get you more comfortable, and show you are just as capable as your extroverted classmates.
Hope yall enjoy!
