Hello Thanks for the honest review...I'd always wanted to buy a Core XR kite, but I hate the complication with the twist-release on the Core Bars.

My question (and please give an honest answer) : Will the XR be just as awesome when flown with a different brand's (low Y) bar? As opposed to the Core's high-Y bar and lines.

Thanks for both review you did on the Core XR6 and the Ozone Edge V10, but it is confusing me which to choose! I did a testing demo day of the XR6 where I tested the 2 sizes: 9m and 12m and i kited back and force 9m Edge V8 versus XR6 9m the same day in the same wind conditions with my Ozone Edge V8 9m and I also did that with Edge V8 11m versus the Demo on the XR6 12m.
First: I noticed several things very interesting! The airtime recorded on an average of 25 jumps averaging 7 meters an airtime of 1 second longer on the Edge V8 9m compared to Core XR6 9m. 4.5sec versus 5.3 sec !!! Recorded with WOO and Double checked with Gopro5.
Second I noticed an easier steering while airborne with the XR6 compared the Edge V8. And the landing of my jumps was smoother with the XR6 versus Edge V8 with the 9m sizes.
Third major point I noticed is the Edge V8 has 2 time stronger capability in going upwind and more precisely when you need it the most which is when the wind become weaker or in the lower end of it kite size. I have not tried yet the Edge V10 to see if they really improved its steering in the air and if it is as good as the XR6!?

I'm on all XR4s, how would you think about going to XR6s or Nexus 2s? I'm mostly twin tip riding, but I've added a foil and a surfboard this year. Can't tell if I'm doing enough of those consider a nexus?

Nice review Jeff! I am think of buying Core XR6 12 m and 10 m, or Duotone rebel 12 m and 10 m, or Duotone Evo 12 m and 10 m (nov i got North Evo 2016 same sizes). Love to go high, what do you recommend? I got 93 kg

I hate pulleys. I think it's a bad way to solve problems. This is what makes me to avoid this kite. I love the rest.
