Real German style would actually be wetsuit, booties, shorts over wetsuit, lycra over wetsuit, helmet with gopro and very important: anemometer in hand all the time.

Okay, after flying the XR6 9M (I don't fly XRs over 10M) here is my opinion. (Just an opinion.)
XR6s seem to have more float than the XR5, not higher jumping but more float and more grunt when you sheet in.

I think Core double down on the flattening of the kite when you pull the bar. The kite wants to go to it's arc shape and you need to resist against the wind to flatten it out hence the higher bar pressure.
Will need to fly an XR5 side by side with same size XR6 to see if this really is true. I could be just crazy.
WeTestKites does side by side comparison maybe they'll get to it in ... About 1/2 a year.

Oh one more reason I think above. When you loop it with bar pulled fully in, it's a LARGE loop generating a lot of force and time to complete the loop. Always thought XRs had inconsistent loops (I fly GTS mainly) maybe it's because of the flattening of the kite. Need more time with it in different conditions.
Or I could just be crazy.

The added bar pressure are a dealbreaker for me. Will stick with my xr4/5

As a person who just purchased three new XR5’s (all of which have yet to be used), how disappointed should I be that I don’t have the new XR6’s?
