Christianity isn't in the business of allowing people to develop their own identities, but rather is about imposing one upon you and punishing those who fail to conform to it.

Weak fear mongering is still an evil act of scare tactics being used. 🤷🏼

if i have morality written on my heart, how can i have free will? god is stopping me sinning before i get the chance to sin.

The word "lord" has always cracked me up. Well, not as much as the word "baal". It is effing hilarious to tell Christians that you worship baal and watch them lose their minds because they think that is a demon's name, having no clue that it is literally Hebrew for "lord".

"made up answers" in genesis.

The denigration of “the other” is the one thing common to all religions and religious like doctrines.

Any religious doctrine is a bubble in which one tries to place oneself and the world with all its details and actions. The nature of such a bubble, no matter religious tenets, is in fact nothing but a mental projection that aims towards making sense of the experience we usually call reality. To place oneself within such a bubble may be a useful technique, for a while, but will sooner or later become a cumbersome burden rather than a solution. Why? Because it’s not a direct way of relating with oneself and the world, it lacks the power to provide with the adequate mental tools to be in touch with ourselves and the world in an authentic way. Because it is an fictional way of viewing the world it is not authentic but a mere projection. In reality it is as hollow as any fictional story or movie we chose to indulge in. The fact that we feel the need to compare and compete with other faiths and worldviews is a sure sign that we are unsure about our own religious projections. We see the same tendencies within the scientific community that have become increasingly sectarian in many aspects.

For anyone seeking true an genuine insights and wisdom these are mental traps that cannot be allowed to fester in the mind because it is the only real “devil” to watch out for. Mental projection and fabrication is the only thing that stands in the way between ourselves and the reality we try to understand. The devil is not to be found in reality itself but it only manifest within a mind that have not yet learned to let go of mental projections and dogmatic fabrication. Gods and devils are religious constructs based on a non-existing duality projected onto the experience we usually call reality. Reality and ourselves within it can never be understood by means of philosophical studies, rational thinking or religious projection.

I went to a babysit church in the 80s ( wasted my Sunday went Joe Montana was playing for the 49ers ) he pastor and other people bad mouthed the other Christian religious
also I thought I was in the saved club
But one day there was a sermon were the pastor was saying something negative about the Simpsons tv show
Also I asked the pastor if you never heard of Jesus would you go to hell for not excepting him as your savior. He said yes
Then I actually read the Bible and figured out that it was a made up story

Helps to continue to see themselves as victims ... As more "thems" (fake theist ) show up the less they ("true theist) are...

If "not everyone who calls me Lord" means anything, it clearly refers to moral values, not doctrinal adherence. Those to whom Jesus says "I never knew you" are best understood as those who do not act like they worship a god of love.

No such thing as an honest theist. It's an oxymoron.

Wouldn't it be wonderful when society is based on objective morality and ethics from common sense principles?

It's ironic that religion is a self identification - and it has to be because it's about individual faith and declaring it. In Christianity your whole purpose, identity and salvation depends on that self identification in addition to the belief.

So Christians using the"no true Christian" fallacy makes zero sense actually. If someone says they believe, Christians shouldn't presume they don't, especially as only God is supposed to be the final judge.

Again, the issue with the Bible is it's presentation...
This idea that is spoken about right here; is exactly the problem. Christians aren't any more saints than the rest. Yeshua didn't come to choose sides

No "True" Christian would presume to pass judgment on the "Trueness" of another's Christianity. The "Trueness" of one's Christianity is between the person and the Holy Spirit.

"My people hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone take them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pry them out of my Father's hand"
