I bought a GE Profile stove with below warming tray in 2008. Never had a single problem. So satisfied I bought a GE Profile French door fridge with cool water only in 2014. No ice maker. Its now 2024 and they are still going strong!! I paid a lot for them but they are worth it just for the peace of mind. The no maintenance is a bonus extra 😀 👍

Refrigerators are all about repair or lack of it. The ice maker is, of course, the problem, but if it is located in the freezer, it is has a better chance of surviving. Most repair people would not put an ice maker in at all.

We bought a new Frigidaire french door refrigerator that makes a very loud continuous buzzing noise from the ice maker's fan which stops when the doors are open. Also, there is no ice on this fan. The repair person stated that all Frigidaire refrigerators make this loud buzzing noise. This noise is persistent, pervasive and extremely annoying and it measured 50 to 55 decibels. We regret this purchase because it is very annoying and can be heard throughout our home"s first floor. Please let us know if this is typical of new Frigidaire refrigerators and if replacing the ice maker’s fan would help. Thanks.

But, but other Boulevard Home (BH) videos say to not buy Frigidaire or LG, and recommend against buying anything with "through the door" options. And what about recommending ones with the ice maker in the refrigerator section vs the freezer, didn't BH say this is bad? And even recommending an LG goes against what is said in BH videos that were made in 2024. So much for your credibility. Whirlpool was recommended but that did even make your list.

Unbelievable! Recommendations are all non-starters based upon each product offered including an indoor ice maker and water dispensing installed in a door. Totally contrary to your own sites recommendation on selecting more reliable products from these same manufacturers. Perhaps, a play to sell extended warranties with these specific models. I don't get it.
