Very cool friend. You know I like different rations from the norm. This should make A good 24 Hr. ration. All components look solid. I am looking forward to reviews, sir. Peace from Kentucky, John.

Nice video, thank you. I've had a few of the Bla Band mains, and I've found that with few exceptions, I prefer the wet pack over the freeze dried. That's the opposite of how I normally feel (Real and Mountain House both do it right), but Bla Band and Travellunch are both kinda meh, IMO. Everything else in these rations tends to be first-rate. Also, here's my tip, take it or leave it:

After many years of playing the ration game, I've learned one thing: Just Eat It. A couple of years from now you will find yourself sitting in front of the computer, scanning Ebay, debating whether or not to buy that perfectly priced, perfectly fresh (pick your country) ration, and passing on it because you have five old ones sitting in your ration room. Or, you buy it, but then put it away and take out one of the old ones to eat. In any case, you're stuck in a loop where you only experience aged meals. EAT THEM FRESH! You found it once, you'll find it again. I guarantee it.

One example: I have a Singaporean ration sitting in the room that i picked up quite a few years ago. For the first few years, I wanted to wait for the perfect time to enjoy the experience. Maybe I'll make a video review? Maybe I'll share it with friends? Maybe for my birthday? Now, it's years beyond its BB date, and these are not known to age well. So, I gave up the fresh experience, passed on multiple opportunities to purchase a new one (because I didn't want to spend the money when I already had one), and now I'm left with an old ration and no memories.

Just my experience. Whatever you do, enjoy the hobby!

I have a Swedish ration like this. Not sure if it's the same menu or not. Nice to see what's inside.
