I find it weird that the instructions on the freeze-dried bags have you fold it out first, when the letters on the inside are only accurate before the bag is folded out. I usually add the water first, and carefully fold it out while praying to Thor that I wont fuck up and spill everything on myself.

The reason theres no whitener nor sugar is most likely due to Sweds commonly drink black coffee.

I pour water until mushy, then add more until just covered, then stir and let sit. After the wait time, add a little bit until consistency desired is reached. I think it's safe to conclude instructions are less than adequate. Looking forward to the rest!

My dad was in the US military for 13 years, when I was a kid he got me hooked on them and now I love them ALL. When ever he sees me eat an MRE he just cringes and says I have a hard stomach...
