Taking care of the Dwarf Umbrella plant starts with lighting. This plant is very adaptable when it comes to lighting.

I use grow lights used for house plants to grow aquarium plants. My experience with this shows me that full spectrum leds with high red out put works well.

Mines is huge. It spans about 5 ft but goes out instead of up. I dont water it iften. I do spray it and feed it plant sticks. When I got it, it was dying with barely any leaves. Now it's super full. I think it's time to cut it back and gift a few to others.

I re-potted my new plant into a clay pot because I heard it helps to regulate any excess water. Have you heard of this technique?

Thanks for the info. I just got a dwarf umbrella plant for next to my desk where it gets no natural light. I have set up a LBW Grow Light which has adjustable brightness and a 4/6/8 hour timer. How long should I have the light on it and at what power level? If possible I would like to have it on 8 hours just so I can look at it (i have a bunch of crystals in the pot too and like the way the glint in the light. Do you have any advice? There is a video on my channel of me planting it and where it is placed. Thanks!

I love your experimental DIY, chill vibe. Wall art, plants, aquariums, grow lights, entertainment center... beautiful! ❤️😊🌿🐡🐠🐚🐌. Subscribed! I know I will learn so much. FYI... I know you think you sounded manic in this video but it was exactly my speed (ADHD), and it's literally 12:30 in the morning 😅. Also, I am a chronic over waterer, and I have a fan that I use quite often to help dry out plants and it works really well👍

These DO NOT want sunlight. And that would be why the plants tip turn brown. And or not enough humidity or too much fertilizer
