Live chats are really challenging to share, especially when multitasking, and my 8 year old called; he gets priority. :) In 1989, March? San Antonio, delivering pizzas, about 8:30pm. I took a run, from Dominoes, and stopped at the light intersecting Perrin Beitel Rd. I would be turning left, going towards loop 410, so, facing west. Across the road, above the power line and tree, was a UFO. I guess cigar shape, but stubby, metallic-pewter, significant three 'porthole' windows, or large lights, illuminated, hovering. My head turned down. I did not consciously look away. I could not look up. I asked myself why I was looking away. I felt anger. I could see the light from the traffic light reflected on the windshield, and when it shifted to green, I drove on, wanting to stay and look. The further I got from that intersection, the more excited I got, 'what was that? why did I look away? Was it a blimp?" I delivered the pizza and rushed back, looking for it, but failed to reconnect. All the runners were back as I entered the store and I asked, "Did any of you see the UFO?" My boss, Bill, immediately said "John, punch out and go home." "Why?" "Punch out, go home, you're done tonight." I was like seriously? No one laughed. No one brought the subject up again, or even teased me about it. I went home. My father noted I was home early, I explained, and he said, "Oh, that's interesting. I wish I had saw it." Then he switched the subject and I was perturbed; i was so ecstatic with excitement and conflicting emotions and no one could care less. Was that conversation ended because no one could relate? Is that psychological or sociological response to crazy? Would that conversation unfold differently today? Why were there no Christina Gomez shows in 1989! Where the heck was Church when I needed him?! And life went on. It was never brought up again. Most the time, when I discussed UFOs with family, the conversation gets shut down. I have sighting going back to childhood, but this is was the clearest, young adult experience. I am still bothered by looking away. Was that my unconscious mind blocking me? Was that fear that made me look away. I hope it was not fear, and not because I am unable to acknowledge I can be fearful, but because- I was interested and wanted to understand what I was looking at. I wonder if it or they made me look away.

The problem with saying this could be our own military is that we would effectively be saying that someone in the military has solved a physics problem that has eluded the best scientific and mathematical minds that have ever lived on this planet for the past 17, 000 years. It seems extremely unlikely to me.
