A few years ago, before the children were born, my wife and I saw something. We were in the mountains in North Alabama for Valentines Day.
In the sky, we saw some strange lights. One came wiggling in, then stopped on a dime, and stayed perfectly still. Others followed. Eventually, some were in a diamond formation, and others in a row of 3 on the near side of the diamond. No sound.
We watched for about 45 minutes before going to bed.
On returning home, people talked me into believing they were weather balloons.
After all, a strong weather front was coming in that night.
Did I give up too easily?

Usually when it comes to cursed objects, the other person has to accept it knowingly. People who have thrown away curse objects usually have stories of how they got them back. If $100(in shipping) solved there problem by sending it to someone who wanted it. A good experiment would be to give(transparently and openly) it to someone who does not believe in paranormal stuff.
