We'll use the connection wizard when connecting a robot to Orchestrator. But, first, open UiPath Assistant and click sign in (remember to be logged in to Orchestrator).

Create a project folder or use an existing one. Choose between Tenant Package feed or create a separate one for this project folder. Give your user the relevant (unattended) user rights and update the settings with your Windows data. To find your domain and user name use the Command Prompt. Allocate an unattended license to your machine.

We create a simple process in UiPath and publish it to Orchestrator. Remember to publish it to the shared tenant feed.

Allocate a machine to your project folder and add the created process. Either start it manually from Orchestrator or use a trigger (e.g., a scheduled).

I have followed the same process as yours to create an unattended bot. Once the attended or unattended process is created it is added to the UiPath Assistant, so when I run the process manually from Assistant or from the "automations" it does not do anything, when I run it from the studio it works perfectly. Is something blocking in the background? Please help Anders

Hi Anders, I tried to SetUp an unattended robot on a VM and it works just fine when a user is Logged on the VM through Remote Desktop Connection.

The problem starts when no one is logged in of the VM. An error ocurrs and returns: “Cannot bring the target application to the front because Windows sesdion is locked”.

Ive tried several alternatives and i need to know why the processes arent working.

I am really desperate and need to find a solution :(
