Pokemon Go! and the Secret Park #CoronaVlogs #Quarantine

This video chronicles our journey as we navigate this "new normal" during COVID-19 and self-quarantine. The United States currently has stay-at-home orders for most of the U.S.A. during this time and face masks or "hospital masks" as Luke calls them are now required in public. At this time we were still waiting for Amazon to deliver our masks. The boys enjoyed playing Fortnite and snuggling with our cat, Xander. Our 10 year old, Conal, our 6 year old, Luke, and Gwendolyn take a walk around the neighborhood. Conal plays Pokemon Go! and we accidentally stumble upon a secret park! We have lived in the area for many years and never knew it existed. On our hike we only came across two other people. Luke figured that the one jogger in the mask must have the coronavirus since he was wearing a face mask, so Gwendolyn explained we all have to wear one now for safety. We found another playground with caution tape around it, a basketball court, hiking trails, two pavilions, and an abandoned Easter egg! We were getting cabin fever, so it was nice to get some fresh air, enjoy the scenery in nature, and explore new places.

Cory worked at a zoo for a number of years and now we have a mini zoo of our own. He does videos on how to care for reptiles and amphibians. Gwendolyn loves to bake and does videos on singing, and playing the flute. Our ten-year-old son, Conal loves to play video games and make up songs. He loves making play dough surprise videos, science experiments, and trips to Build-A-Bear Workshop and the LEGO store. Our six-year-old son, Luke loves to create and explore.

Pets we currently have are: 2 Russian Tortoises named Onia and Draggo, 3 Red-Eared Slider Turtles named Remy, Atlas, and Demeter, 2 Dendrobates leucomelas--also known as Yellow-Banded Poison Dart Frogs named Mr. T., Spots, and Bars, 1 Pueblan Milk Snake named Taos, 1 Axolotl named Michael Pinky, 1 Tabby Cat named Xander, 4 Kenyan Sandboas, and 2 Crested Geckos named Leapy and Stripey.
