I am starting a project TODAY in Davinci wanting to composite fire here instead of After Effects. MANY thanks for this timely tutorial 🙏 Truly a life saver!

Great stuff! Just watching your workflow gives me a great start on learning how much delicate work goes into making VFX look realistic. Thank you for sharing this tutorial!

Thank you for the fantastic tutorial! I struggled to remove the dark smoke around the flames but was excited to find that applying the "Screen" mode in the Merge node eliminated the black contour. Now, I aim to isolate the flame without the background for overlaying in Edit mode onto an image. Could you guide me on disconnecting the background in Fusion or suggest another node for achieving the Merge/Apply mode: Screen effect? Appreciate your assistance!

Thank you for this tutorial. Please create more in Fusion. Here are a few example requests: A parameterized forest fire, Smoke and Fire inside a burning hut, magical fire in a person's hand etc. Thanks again. Best.

incredible how many nodes have to be made to compose a fire, It's good How to know how to do all those nodes to compose a fire but the best would be to make it easier to copy all the nodes and simply replace the node with the old node of the fire and replace it with the node of the new fire.

I have a suggestion for a new Resolve/Fusion tutorial. Using the uVolume nodes added in the new 19 beta to import vdb files and render some explosions. It's basically a "how to use our stuff in Resolve" tutorial, since you have lots of those assets

Nice, if you use plates that are good to track. You said you prepared the plate and reduced the flickering. But how you did that, you don´t show. So if someone buy stuff by action vfx and try it in his own plates, there are maybe problems they don´t know where they come from

this is so awesome! although it's really time consuming D: what if I have a scene with lots of vfx like fires explosions smoke, dust particles etc etc it will take me years :(
