To do the pen flip at the start of the video:

1. Grap a pen
2. Hold the pen in such a way that your index is near the end and your middle is in a 'V' shape near the cap. the thumb is to be in between these fingers (almost like a guitar barr chord)
3. Push with ur middle finger and draw ur index a little behind. The centrifugal force should make the pen round the thumb and just as it does, close ur index finger to grab the pen with the support of your middle finger.
4. Practice to nail the timing!
