Thanks for the great discussion around seasonal allergies! Dr. Torres is spot on that monitoring pollen counts is really helpful. And hair as a pollen "sponge, " great! Adding this video to our own playlists for sure!

I think many times what we call an allergie is actually a buildup of things that on a micro scale is needed or at least tolerated in the body but in larger amounts are toxic or deadly . I started having a reaction to eggs and onions after eating egg sandwiches every single day for years, and I became so sensitive that I almost died from not being able to breathe from a very small amount . But I did an elimination diet to figure it out and by not eating that for several years have become much less sensitive ! I think the culprit was a buildup of sulfur . I just wanted to let people know that there sensitivity, maybe reversable, by eliminating the rite foods !

Allergy shots helped me the most but it takes a least a year to get relief.

No mention of Nettles tea. That would interfere with their desire to market prescription drugs.

The hair on my head started thinning significantly after an extremely stressful time in my life. Consequently, I myself researched the net & decided to try the litttleextra coocoonion hair oil and a comb made of neem wood. The results truly worked. At present, I have lengthy, dense, black hair which has grown down to my waist & cut off three times since I began using it. Easy & good. Additionally, equally good is massaging your scalp - it stimulates the growth. You only have to do this weekly. Pretty soon, you will see short hairs starting to grow.

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" When outdoors I wear a 95 mask with an exhalation valve. It works to save me from the misery of pollen allergies. I also don't expose my skin if I can avoid it, and if I do, I wash. I haven't been on medication for years and am so glad that my non-medication prevention strategy has worked well. Also to note, if you don't want to wear a mask, consider breathing through your mouth only - it will minimally get into your sinuses.

I think seasonal allergies are good for people. They seem to cleans nose, eyes, lungs, activating bodies defense mechanism cleaning them from bacterial growth during spring, September. It's like yearly vaccines. When taking medicine for allergies it makes it worst, by allowing these diseases to grow during seasons, and later making you more sick.
