POV: you joined the army at 16 because you wanted to leave the streets of the boneyard, and start a new life. The pay was good, and who doesn’t want to go to the shining beauty of Vegas. After only a week of training, your off to get assigned. Ryan’s got Golf, Turner got sent to the Strip, and Mandy was sent to Mojave Outpost. As you walk up next in line, your Sargent looks at you with pity. He then tell you you’ve been assigned to Forlorn Hope. You’ve heard rumors of Forlorn Hope, how rough the skirmishes are, how you only get one ration a day to save resources. You were basically sent to your death.

Weeks later during the toughest battle they’ve had yet. You hold on to your piece of junk for a rifle. Hiding behind sandbags. Your hands are shaking as you hear your CO order your squad to do an all out push. You shut your eyes closed and count. 3… 2… 1… you pop up out of the sand bags. You shoot one legionary dead. But from the corner do you eye you spot a figure with a repeater as you look toward you see he is aiming right at you and-

I feel like it would be cool if there was a radio station exclusive to NCR areas that plays a bunch of California songs.

Love the NCR or hate it but you can't forget that without the Mojave campaign there wouldn't have been a fallout new Vegas

Still the NCR has a lower casualty rates compared to the Legion so it shouldn't be that bad
