Wow! Thanks for the shout out and doing another Atlas show. Great start to a Saturday morning!

Atlas cómics are short lived but definitely unique and easy to collect only lasting 1 to 4 issues per comic

Nice Atlas show. I picked up a few as a kid, and nearly have them all now. Thanks again!

I remember watching Dune and those terrifying creatures popping out of the sand! Even late night re-runs on Satruday nights. As far as Atlas Comics, I started out with Phoenix because of the UFO scenes and then found Iron Jaw entertaining as his character resembled Neal Adams as it was drawn by him! Talk about crazy stuff! Just like that James Bond villain Jaws!

Mink lover old comics and groovy music, and a lover wry humour.

This company was a 25 cent box mainstay when I started collecting comics in earnest back in the late 1970s. The artwork on the books tanged from mediocre to sublime. The Neal Adams "Iron-Jaw" cover with the bear is seared into my memory. One of Howie Chaykin's Dominic Forune precursors was a standout. I loved "The Protector" by Sal Amendola😁
I think their rates for artwork were higher than DC and Marvel at the time so lotsa' talent contributed to the books.

Yep, that Atlas sure was a strange creature. Nice one, Jason!

Hey Mink. Love Atlas books. I got your novel a couple of days ago. Surprised that it's so long.

I'm late again, but I'm here. Thanks for covering Atlas. I don't have all of the Atlas issues, but I can say that I've never read one that I didn't enjoy. I have to admit that the Dune figures surprised me. I've never seen them before.

Just like Devil Hunter, the Scorpion trekked over to Marvel, and morphed into Dominic Fortune. Ah, Martin was a complete overextender for his part. He killed Atlas twice, but no NPP bailout this time around.
