Customer relationship management (CRM) is a business strategy that stresses good ongoing relationships with customers. It holds that maintaining these relationships drives growth and profitability. There are two core elements of this customer-centric strategy:

Presenting a unified face to the customer
Providing a seamless customer experience
CRM software can help by synchronizing customer communications among business units. Sales, marketing and customer service can all get on the same page. It acts as a system of record for contacts and accounts throughout the customer lifecycle. With CRM tools companies can track, automate, analyze, and optimize customer interactions. At its core, a CRM is a database of contact information and interaction history for each individual contact.

Multiple departments may be using the CRM within one organization. These include sales, marketing, customer success or service, and potentially other teams too.

I am at a pivotal point right now with my main business where we need to pick a CRM. I had two meetings with Salesforce. I had one meeting with itgenius who claimed to have an overview of all of the options available though it seemed like they pipelined me to the products they sell and did not give accurate info on Salesforce or Dynamics. I'm noticing Dynamics 365 is not on this review list. Is there a solid reason for that? It's an integrated piece with the rest of the 365 suite. Also with Microsoft phone system. I just found out about it today, seems like it could be a good fit. Do you know of any consulting companies that don't have any skin in the game in terms of trying to sell one product over the other that I can hire to help us fit into a good software suite?
