I'm the only one in my family to be lactose intolerant. Such is the odds when you're adopted... Anyway, something I've noticed over the years; check the labels and ingredients for an enzyme called Lactase. It's an enzyme specifically made to destroy lactose in dairy products, meaning you don't need 'fake' products. Just take the milk where it all starts, add some lactase enzymes, and then use the milk in butter, ice cream, cheese, or whatever else.
