I think standardizing the chocolate in the chocolate milk test would have been a better test of the milk differences. Starting with a glass of milk then adding a measured amount of chocolate powder/syrup.

WOW!!! I Never thought I would see the company I work at featured on an episode of GMM! I work on the Strain Engineering team there, so it is my job to genetically engineer the organisms we use to produce our dairy proteins. We do have a ways to go to compete with authentic dairy products, but we are already making an impact with our products and we are only getting started. The coolhaus brand ice cream in particular is my favorite :)

I think the non-dairy alternative companies have just had more time to perfect their recipes, the lab grown milk is so new, I bet a lot of companies are just treating it exactly like dairy milk and don't know yet how to work with it to make it reach its full potential
