Starts from slowest(MOST CONTROL) to fastest(SPEED/BEST GLIDE)

Artisan Zero: Slowest: Best for Control
Artisan Hayate Kou: X and Y axis inconsistent (Good fabric/feel)
Artisan Hayate Otsu(mid): Little more speed/glide than the Zero, little slower than the Hien
Artisan Hien(mid): Most balanced; not too fast, not too slow (rough fabric: rope burn feeling, ouch!)
Artisan Raiden(mid): Super fast but with some control (umbrella type material: feels awesome) | Risk of spinouts: fabric might be a bit reflective-older sensor issue
Artisan Shidenkai(mid): Super fast but far less control, coated in glass (material might wear down over time)

I ended up going with an XL soft Hayate-Kou since I seemed to fit my technique for the FPS games I play the best. I personally found the X/Y difference to be a positive as it allowed my palm grip to track vertical movements much better compared to traditional pads.

Thanks for the complete review. I had Artisan Hayate about 10 years ago. I think they're not manufacturing it any more, it had a bit more pronounced X than Y, but was top notch quality. I've never seen cloth before so much resembling plastic surface. Having MP511 I think I will opt for Hayate Otsu instead of Hien then and test how bit more control/speed blend looks like with premium quality. QcK was way too muddy for me :)
