I Ranked Every Red Dead Redemption 2 State From Worst To Best

Today, I am going to rank every Red Dead Redemption 2 state in a tierlist, starting from the worst states, and going all the way to the best states.

This is just my opinion, so put yours in the comments and let's debate!

F tier: Mexico - you can't get there without glitches, no towns, no NPCs, no wildlife, nothing to do.

Ambarino is stunning but they need a town there...a live town with store and trading...up in that snow. Another thing that hurts the state is lack of Grizzlies...I find no grizz in the snow at all...even in grizzlies east theres maybe one. But a working town in Grizzly west or east woulda been very nice. I'll add this, If mexico was part of the equation, it would be #1 no question !! A town like Strawberry should be up in Ambarino somewhere.

New Austin is kinda underrated unique wildlife and geography a interesting gang camps and two villages which is alot more than amnbrino would have swapped them around

butchers creek is my fav, there's a high probability you will get robbed so you can kill them without losing honor its very satisfying

I always visit the river and mountains just north of Strawberry. That is the most beautiful part of the game to just chill

my favourite is new hanover just cus of roanoke ridge, its so underrated

5. Lemoyne (feels the least western in a cowboy game)

4. New Hanover (roanoke)

3. Ambarino (might be 1 depending on the day)

2. New Austin (love going there as john and just treat the game as a sort of survival ish game)

1. West Elizabeth (love all the areas in the entire state, blackwater is prob my fav town)

Lemoyne feels like it has the most content though. Amberino would be better if it was connected to the annesberg and van horn section of new hanover

I like New Hanover better than Lemoyne but admittedly it is more impressive

My rankings:
5) New Austin - I found it boring and just an area for lore rather than exploration for casual players.
4) West Elizabeth - I like west elizabeth. You can tell it's split between two areas, the north, which is full of natural beauty especially with big valley and the south which is very rich and prosperous due to Blackwater.
3) Ambarino - The most beautiful state, the views are epic, the only area with snow, the sheer diversity and wild life makes me love this state.
2) New Hanover - Extremely geographically diverse state, when your in valentine, then go to roanoke ridge, you just have a completely different vibe even though they are in the same state. It's a large and diverse state to say the least.
1) Lemoyne - I love lemoyne, mainly due to Saint Denis. I find the city very engaging. The swampy areas feel scary, the city feels full of life, Rhodes feels like an american civil war town. It's perfect for me.
